Now, this really bummed me out.

I finally remembered that I wanted to photograph my paintings. They had been placed in the spare room, in the closet. Sometime ago, the wall of the shower leaked, but I did not realize how bad. I fixed the leak, but didn't go check on my paintings... until today. Because of my laxness, I ruined eight paintings. Some have small damage, but a couple others are as bad as these two.

Additional paintings during 2023. Hopefully, I can finish a few more, soon. There are many that have been started, just not finished!

The latest paintings
Originally, I painted these paintings thinking I would use one for a "white elephant" office party (on Zoom) gift. I uploaded them to my FaceBook account, and they both were requested by a FB friend. I'm starting over for that gift! LOL.

Most recent painting.
Columbia Art League sent an E-mail, last weekend, as a call for entry into the Members’ Summer Open. I only had a couple days to come up with my entry. Last year, I bought some framed canvas, 11”x14”, so figured that one of my recent paintings of that size could fit in the frame. It was about 1/6th too large. I had to paint something new, because I needed to give the title of the piece when filling out the entry. This painting is loosely taken from a recent photo out my back window.

Cards
It's been a while since I last posted, and I'm not sure where I left off on posting paintings. Here are the birthday cards I painted over the past year.

December 13, 2020.
Two more shipped out, and Winter Birds3 is ready for the swap. Winter Birds4 was also sent out for a private collection. That makes more room on my walls for new paintings. Win Win! :)

Last two of the year!
Happy New Year!
Red Rocks came about from using a blank canvas to use up excess paint (from paintings that were being worked on). Once the rocks showed themselves, I just added more paint to create the landscape shown.
This painting was started in late 90s or early 2000s, after a float trip. I decided to finish it in 2020. After many paint sessions, it is finished. I'm happy! :)
