This cat has come to my house to live. His current name is "George".  Posted by Hello

This cat was dumped out somewhere in the neighborhood of my friend's house and had hung around for some weeks while she and her family made friends with it. Since they already have 3 indoor cats, she didn't want to put this one indoors. That is the reason I took it. The poor thing was in a fight and she took it to the vet. She also got it fixed and got it vaccinated before she gave him to me.

George, as in Foreman, appears fine.
But he's got that "Boxer" look, too.

Is his face gonna be okay, and will you repost a pic when he is?

How about naming him JFK? That could stand for either John Fitzgerald Kennedy or John Forbes Kerry, take your pick. It would be a fitting change from George, I think.



NoName is quite handsome. He looks like my neighbor's cat, Ginger. I might have nominated Ginger as a new name, but it sounds feminine (gingercat is a girl).

Yes, I will post a picture when his face heals. The doc sent salve to apply 3 times a day.
Great name suggestions, here, and over at Eschaton.
Quinlabelle suggested "Sargeant Mango?" Instead of "George?" which I am mulling - I thought I might add a third name - "Goldstein"? Thanks all:)
