It's morning somewhere

Oh, I would loooove to see Condi get the Republican nomination, and then go down in flames.
 

Well, if it was a given that she would go down in flames, I would be happy, too. However, the way the Republican party works nowadays and the way the Dems won't even fight, I am not so sure. The Dems are finally beginning to show some backbone, but for how long?
 

I would say that a black woman would have trouble carrying the South, but many troll authorities have claimed that this would be a racist and/or Southist observation...

his first comment when he came to visit. "ya sure gotta a lot of niggers in this neighborhood" i was livid. his excuse, "well i grew up in alabama". make sure you stay there too.

i can't see how anyone could like her.
 

I was listening to some Right wing talk radio and they were talking about Condi and she was somewhat pro-choice.

so I called up to say, "I LOVE Condi, but I don't like THAT she is PRO-Choice. Plus you just know that if she runs the Dems will bring up how she failed to protect us on 9/11 how Richard Clarke had to take charge and then they'll bring up the whole PDB and how she she wasn't prepared, and who she was focusing on a missle shield instead of terrorists...
( I was just going to go on the whole litinay about how bad she is)
And that HRC (as they call her). I heard she didn't meet with some Gold star moms. you just know the dems will bring up how the President and vice President never go to any funerals.

Unfortunatly they didn't have enough time to get to my call. Too bad.

On the one hand, I would love to see Condi be the candidate, because with her record of failure so far in the Bush Administration she should be an easy target. However, that's the way I felt about Bush's reelection, too, and we all know how that turned out. The other problem with Condi as a candidate is that any opposition to her on her merits would be turned by the Republicans (and willingly picked up by our brain-dead stenographer press) as an attack on a minority candidate.

For a party that has always tried to trumpet itself as the party of personal responsibility, it's amazing how often and successfully they manage to identify people like Rice and Gonzales by their race.
 

Have mercy OWL, I have been trying to get in here to post a comment for DAYS! I finally just clicked on 'comment' and let er roll. It took darn near 15 minutes for this thing to load. Blogger needs to fix this program or discontinue it's use.
