With friends like these....
... You could probably take over the world!
One of the girls I work with (at the second job) buys lots of clothes. She said she could go months without wearing the same outfit. She washes her clothes when she goes to visit her parents (about 100 miles away). Until she does, though, she has several baskets(for worn clothing) she uses to sort, as she removes them. Last week, she was lamenting that she wouldn't be able to go this weekend as she had to work. She said the baskets were full.
While she was at work, her best friend called her and invited her over for lunch. She went and had a good meal - then went back to work. When she was finished with work, she went home. She walked into the bedroom and found the baskets full of clothes were missing! She ran to the living room to see if the TV and stereo were still there. They were. She checked her closets to make sure the clean clothes were still there. She was confused about who would "steal baskets of dirty clothes". Finally, she called her best friend to find out if she knew where they were. Her best friend (with husband) had come over and carted off the clothes. It took her friend 8 hours to wash and dry them. What a nice thing to do!
