12 people arrested in riot in Australia
Twelve people were arrested during a riot at Cronulla beach of Sydney, Australia's largest city, on Sunday in which mobs attacked people of Middle Eastern appearance.

More violence against people of Middle Eastern appearance - this time in Australia. It's downright scary how much hatred has been released into the world. I think the Iraq war was a Pandora's Box. When shrub insisted on attacking them, the winds of evil were allowed to run rampant. Oh, I know... 9/11 was actually the start of the evil winds. That may be true, but Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Another link Reader reaction to the riots which has additional information on the violence noted in the article above, as well as reader comments.

Speaking of 9/11, there is a great Doonesbury cartoon that really should be read.
