I'm ready for spring!
I thought a picture of a nice Rose Moss flower would cheer me up.I was looking at one of the newspapers online and found that there's a Polar Bear Plunge braces for throng of spectators, while participants brace for icy lake water coming up. I doubt I'll go.
As the event has grown, Leyva said so has the creativity of the participants. Last year, creative costumes included Elvis, SpongeBob SquarePants, farmer brown and Little Bo Peep, just to name a few.
This year, Leyva gathered a group of seven, from the department and some of their spouses. Not only did he talk them into plunging, they agreed to go in full costume.
