At least 67 people have been killed in a series of rocket and bomb attacks in Baghdad.
The latest fatalities bring the death toll this week to over 400...

...Around 3,500 civilians were killed in Iraq in July, one of the highest death tolls for a month since the US led invasion of 2003.It doesn't sound good, does it? Wouldn't all these fatalities be good enough reason for the US to hold "Its Fire on Iran"? I wouldn't think we could fare better with them. They haven't even been economically sanctioned for 10 or so years.
Meanwhile August was one of the most lethal months for the Americans with the killing of 53 soldiers and marines...
