Hemingway Home in cat fight
Here's a website with photos of Polycats. Those kitties look like they have mittens on their little paws. How cute!
...The reason? The U.S. Department of Agriculture says the author's one-time home in Key West needs a license to exhibit the descendants of the original polydactyl, or extra-toed, cat he is said to have received from a ship captain in the 1930s...I found this in today's paper. Along with the article, they showed a photo of a white kitty drinking out of the kitty fountain(it was once a urinal in a bar). There's also a picture of Ivan, the two-year old orange and white cat, who's scaled the wall five times this year. Ivan's picture shows the paw spread out a bit so the viewer can get an idea of the extra toe(s).
