Said Grey Feather, "I'm just a cat....
I don't know nothin' 'bout horses!"
Grey Feather's choice, of first place, in the Kentucky Derby didn't make it. Cowtown Cat ended up 20th in a race of 20. What an exciting race! At first, we thought Hard Spun would win because he stayed out front, almost until the end.
Street Sense won, Hard Spun came in second, and Curlin was third. Of her other picks, Any Given Saturday came in eighth, and Storm in May came in 16th. Yes, it's a good thing she didn't bet any money on her favorite nags, she would have been very sad. Even the horse the others kitties liked, Scat Daddy, didn't place in the top three. I think he placed 18th.
