So sorry, I lost your comments.

From Echo's site:

JS-Kit, Haloscan and Echo Comments will be discontinued on October 1st, 2012. The service will be free until October 1st, 2012.

While I had the time, I decided to change the comments back to Blogger's comments. I lost all the comments, because I didn't download them. Unfortunately, I had originally used Halo-Scan, and when I changed to Echo, I used their plug-in. In reading their directions, it appeared I had been on so long (with these outside services) that I would have to send them my template to edit and send back to me. I decided to yank the code out, myself, thereby losing all the previous comments.

Comments:
It needed to be done.

I wonder if you couldn't still go to the jskit site and login, to see your comments...

Downloading them and adding them back, using everybody's details in the posting as blank... would be slow painstaking work, but it could be done.

stonethegardener - Yes, you are right about that. I started to do that, back when Haloscan was shutting down, but it took a lot of time, and Echo said they could add the comments (and they did). Sure, they could have fixed this if I wanted to wait, but I wanted to make sure I could get the blogger comment forum back.
