Friday Cat Blogging - Keeping Cool

Parker Dmitri got to get a shave and bath, while at her Primary Physician's office.  When she went in, she was full of real thick hair and large mats.  She hated getting the trim, but she loves it now.  She reminds me of a poodle, running to and fro.  No more hiding under the table for her!

It's a Lion cut, OWL. PD is probably conflicted, as the experience was really annoying, but it makes her more comfortable.

The vets down here do it so the flea meds are effective. The pills will kill adult fleas, but heavy coats can house generations of fleas, and the cats don't get much relief.

Bryan - Yes, she sure does look like a mini lion. She really feels better now that the horrible mat is gone. What a funny kitty. I imagine there are lots of fleas for little kitties to pick up in your warmer climate. No wonder the vets give the creatures such trims.
