I'm getting ready to donate some pet portraits to the local art league. The funds collected will go to the art league and the local animal shelter. I asked a friend for some photos of her dog, to practice with. I did a sketch, a watercolor, and an acrylic. I am happy with how they all turned out, but I'm planning to paint the 5-7 photos(that I will soon receive) in acrylic.

Robin Andrea - Thank you so much! I agree that it is such a cool way to raise money. I like being able to donate my time and expertise to help both. I usually just donate a little money to the shelter. I feel that this also helps me hone my skill.
