Friday Cat Blogging - If you're bored - take a nap.

Mango didn't like being left out of last week's Friday Cat Blogging pictures, so I agreed to post his picture this week. As you can see from his expression, he's very happy... in fact - he's quite thrilled about it!

Friday Cat Blogging - Box room for rent?

Lady Fortuna was checking to see if the ceiling was in good repair. As far as we can tell, it is. She'd better sign the rental contract, quick, because I have other cats coming to look at it. Someone else might just rent the room right out from under her. She decided to think it over. Possible bad move???Grey Feather already tried out the roof of this spacious room. Now she's checking the floor and interior. I think it's time to write up that rental agreement...If I can just get a pawprint here....Possible bad move???Well would you look at that! There's a cat on the roof! ..And it looks disgruntled - how scary is that? Perhaps, this isn't the best place to rent, after all!

Friday Cat Blogging - Can't remember this cat's name.

Last Saturday, I went to the neice's - oops - niece's house and met this cat formally. Sometime back, I posted a picture of him in a window. Now, I actually got to pick him up and play with him. What a nice kitty. He, like Lady Fortuna and Grey Feather, was a pound puppy, until his adoption. I've determined that if you want nice friendly cats, you must have some kids around to play with them. Wouldn't my cats be pissed if I brought some kids home to stay? It's bad enough I bring a kitten home every couple years!

**Yay! Update on the cat's name (from the comment by Anonymous). The pretty, fluffy, orange cat's name is Werro.

Friday Cat Blogging - two grays, a white, and a torti

Tuesday, I bought the box that Grey Feather is enjoying. Sgt Mango, Parker Dmitri, and Rocky Girl were put into the box on Wednesday. Lady Fortuna and Grey Feather were placed in separate boxes. They were all placed into the car, and a visit to their PCP was made. Every one of them received some type of shots. Parker Dmitri gets to go again in a month. On the way there, Sgt Mango attempted to discuss his displeasure. Soon, all the kitties were adding their complaints. I wished I had a tape recorder. Placing one note after another, I could have had a great song, somewhat like the "Jingle Bells" tunes made from dog barks and cat meows. Once to the office, I found that Sgt Mango also had a heavy urination episode. Unfortunately, I had not placed papers in the box, so Rocky Girl and Parker Dmitri had urine soaked feet, too. Once home, the kitties scattered, and tried to make themselves scarce. Parker Dmitri is still very skittish when she sees me.This is one of the kitties I checked on over July 4th weekend. What a sweet little kitty. It purrs and acts like it's my best friend. I guess it's a good thing it didn't come here to live. The Princess Grey Feather would have been royally pissed.Parker Dmitri is making friends. However, she picked the most rotten of the bunch to hang out with. Rocky Girl is an oily schmoozer and a horrible flirt. Perhaps Parker Dmitri will pick up some of Rocky Girl's friendly mannerisms. The other day, they were walking side-by-side toward me, and they were pressed so close, it looked like they were holding each other up.

Friday Cat Blogging - Remembering.

I was looking through kitty pictures and came across this one. Saddie, Mogwei, and Cotton all together. All three have now departed from the living. They were all sweet wonderful kitties, in their own funny feline ways.

Saddie was such a momma's boy. He would be at the door when I unlocked it. He immediately came when I called him, and he kept my lap warm. He was such a treasure. He liked to sleep under the covers, and many times, he'd be in bed before I got there. He made coming home something to look forward to at the end of the day. What a wonderful furry friend!

Mogwei was darling lap cat, but best, he was a great stalker. When I had gerbils, one of them got out and hid under the cabinet. Mogwei stayed on watch for hours. He finally got his mouse. He scared the neighbor dog back to her mother, every time they came over. What a sweet funny furry friend!

Cotton was a great sweetheart. He loved to rub against my work clothes, and my carry items, to make sure I had the required white kitty hairs before I left. He liked to stand on his hind feet, extending to his full height, as he tried to look at things above his normal view. What a darling furry friend!
